Private Policy

Ok, here we go. Obviously not written by a lawyer, but it's transparent in plain English:

When I say "I" I mean me, Barbara Asia and Blushing Meow. We're one and the same. There's a few ways your personal information can get with Blushing Meow:

• subscribing to the e-newsletter (sign up on the website or at a art/craft show)

• placing an order

• or signing up to enter a contest (again, either online or at my booth at an art/craft show)

If you choose to purchase an item from my shops, you obviously do it either through Etsy and/or Threadless, which then of course you would need to agree to their private policy and terms.Your personal information you give to me on my end is collected solely for the purpose of:

• corresponding with you regarding one of my products or related;

• to receive a monthly e-newsletter if you've opted in (which contains new product announcements, pre-sale announcements, and related information and downloadable freebies)

• inform you of the results of a contest you entered

You can opted out of the e-newsletter subscription at anytime, and I will simply removed your name and email from the list.

Your personal information will NEVER be sold, traded, rented out, or given to any one else or used in any improper way at Blushing Meow.

 As owner and designer of Blushing Meow, I am also the "Data Protection Officer" here and the only personnel who has access and usage of my opted-in email addresses and customer information. But I do use a third-party service provider to sent out these emails- I use MailChimp, a very reliable marketing automation platform and an email marketing service who are seriously invested in protecting their customers' email lists.

This website also uses Google Analytics- that helps to better your experience on the website and lets me know how you are using it. You can read more about Google and their use of your personal information here.

EU Buyers

Blushing Meow is located in the United States. Although Blushing Meow is not accepting overseas orders at this time on my Etsy shop, anyone living in the EU or anywhere else in the world can subscribe and receive the enewsletter. Same rules apply - email address will be on the list through MailChimp, and subscriber can opted out at any time.

CHANGES TO THE POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, at its sole discretion. If changes are made,  then an announcement bar on the Blushing Meow website will pop up so you are always aware of what changed.
